Les plans d’échantillonnage et les techniques de prélèvements des mollusques continentaux

Non-marine molluscs are often forgotten when it comes to environmental assessment studies. This is mainly due to the lack of knowledge of this zoological group, of the scattered data that has been collected in an independent way by different authors using different sampling strategies and/or methods. However many continental molluscs are recognized as being vulnerable and a fair number are registered on protected species’ lists. This paper presents and analyses the different sampling strategies (schemes and methods) used for the study of freshwater and land Molluscs in order to define better approaches.
