Evaluation de l’impact d’un projet de canal sur les na ades de l’Oise (France) et découverte de valves récentes de Margaritifera auricularia (Spengler, 1793) (Bivalvia : Margaritiferidae)

Within the framework of the installation project of the Oise River for the “Seine-Nord” channel, a research of the species of patrimonial bivalves was financed by Voies Navigables de France and driven by Biotope consultancy. The means put together allowed a complete inventory of the macrobivalves of the Oise River on the section affected by the project. In this context some valves of Unio crassus and Margaritifera auricularia have been found. For the latter, some valves seem a few months old only, which let us think that alive individuals could potentially remain in the Oise River. This population would constitute the fifth population for France and the seventh world population for this species which appears among the most threatened invertebrates of the planet.
