Review: REVIEW ON: ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS

Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a chronic, progressive, connective tissue disorder that is characterized by inflammation of the joints of the spine (vertebral joints), hipbones, and sacrum (sacroiliac joints). There is no cure for ankylosing spondylitis, but treatments can decrease pain and lessen symptoms. Treatment includes pain relieving drugs, DMARDs and TNFα blockers; herbal and homeopathic medications are also available.
