Chemical reaction effect on an unsteady MHD free convection flow past a vertical porous plate in the presence of suction or injectionDOI: 10.2298/tam1202185s Keywords: chemical reaction , MHD , vertical plate , suction , finite element method Abstract: The objective of this paper is to analyze the effect of chemical reaction on unsteady magneto hydrodynamic free convective fluid flow past a vertical porous plate in the presence of suction or injection. The governing equations of the flow field are solved numerically by a finite element method. The effects of the various parameters on the velocity, temperature and concentration profiles are presented graphically and values of skin-friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number for various values of physical parameters are presented through tables.
