The Living Kidney Donation Interview in the Context of the Kidney Transplantation

In 1997 Germany installed the transplantation act. This act demands to establish a commission of experts, that has to control the regulations, for example supervising the prohibition of organ trade. The psychological evaluation of all participants applies to the psychologists of the transplantation centres. Their business is to interview the organ donor, organ recipient and all possible relatives or close associates of persons regarding their motivation and attitude concerning living organ donation. After this, the psychologist has to write a psychological expertise. In this script the method of interviewing is described and suggestions and aspects concerning enforcement, questions, contents and their targets are discussed.
