Determinants of Farmers’ Satisfaction with Their Irrigation System in Nigeria

The Logit dichotomous regression model was employed to analyse the satisfaction farmers derive from their irrigation system given certain explanatory variables. It was found that fertilizer availability on time, the output of the farmer, plot size, timely water releases and location of farm plots to head section of branch canals significantly influenced the farmers` satisfaction with their irrigation systems.
