Tabagismo: apague esse vício

One of the biggest challenges of Public Health in the last times is the tobacco. In such away, innumerable scientific publications have alerted to the population for the implications of thetobaccoism, including the dependence, that was recognized for the World-wide Organization of Health asan incurable and gradual disease. Currently, the dependence of the tobacco meets registered in cadastre inthe International Code of Diseases (CID-10) and still, in accordance with the WHO, the tobacco is the main cause of avoidable and premature death in the world. However, the use of the tobacco can be considered a pandemic and as such needs to be fought. Therefore, some actions have been implemented for the National Program of Control of the Tobaccoism with the objective to reduce the prevalence of smokers, as well as the morbidade and mortality for tobacco-related illnesses.
