Relation of Religion and Science

Religion and science are two big realities of human life. Two of them sometimes have gone parallel with each other, sometimes remained separate, even conflicted. Especially Christianity has been a religion in which were seriously lived conflicts of religion to science. In the late period of Ottoman, the affiliations with Christian Western world have brought up to agenda the matter of “conflict of religion to science” in our country. In our time, the matter has gone on to deal with from various aspects. In this paper the matter of conflict of religion to science will deal with particularly in terms of Christianity and Islam.
