OS BENDITOS POPULARES NO PROCESSO DE MOVêNCIA E MANUTEN O DA CULTURA

This study aims at understanding the interlacements of memory and the social imaginary of the symbolic productions of popular religious songs called bendito. Thus, the main goal of this study is to show that, to define this genre it is necessary to consider the dimensions of its use as a social representation and as a discursive manifestation; the ritual practice of the bendito is tied on to the cultural traditions that culminate in constructions of identity. In this perspective we relate the notion of genre through what constitutes the use of the verbal text in a situation of “interaction”, the dialogic processes in their complexity.
