Arquitetura, fé e poder no Vale do Paraíba: o Gymnásio S o Joaquim de

This work intends to understand the relations among the architecture faith and power in Parai-ba Valley analysed by the Education History. For this purpose, it was studied S o Joaquim`s architecture, from 1890 to 1913, belonging to Catholic Church. As data were used the magazine O Grêmio founded in 1910 and written by the students of Joaquim Nabuco, from S o Joaquim High School. It used to photos of CEDOC (Center of document of S o Joaquim High School) and the private collection of the teacher and photographer from Lorena, Ercio Molinary.
