APROXIMACIóN AL CONCEPTO DE ESCALA EN EL PRIMER CICLO DE EDUCACIóN PRIMARIA. PRESENTACIóN DE UN JUEGO PARA SU TRATAMIENTO DESDE LA ENSE ANZA ACTIVA

Resumen: El objetivo esencial del presente artículo es presentar un juego didáctico que hemos dise ado para facilitar al alumnado del primer ciclo de Educación Primaria la comprensión del concepto básico de escala, con el objetivo de prepararle cognitivamente para la correcta interpretación, en cursos superiores, de este convencionalismo en planos y mapas. La investigación empírica que del mismo hemos realizado, experimentándolo en centros educativos de la ciudad de Madrid, ha puesto de manifiesto su alto grado de utilidad para la ense anza-aprendizaje del tema. Su empleo en el aula ha supuesto el tratamiento del mismo desde la ense anza activa, que concede un papel esencial a la metodología lúdica, y ha permitido la consecución de aprendizajes significativos por parte de los escolares a partir de sus ideas y representaciones conceptuales previas. Abstract: The main objective of the present paper is to introduce a didactic play designed in order to help the students of early years of primary education the understanding of the concept of scale. The understanding of this concept prepare them to the correct interpretation, in further years, of this conventionalism in plans and maps. Empirical research we have conducted on the effectiveness of this material, testing in schools in the city of Madrid, has shown a high degree of usefulness for teaching and learning the subject. The use of this material in the classroom has been done from active teaching, giving a central role to the ludic methodology, and has allowed the achievement of meaningful learning by the students from their previous ideas and conceptual representations. Résumé: Le présent article a comme objectif principal, présenter un jéu didactique que nous avons con u pour faciliter à l′élève du premier cicle d′ éducation Primaire, la compréhension du concept basique d′échelle, avec l′objectif de lui préparer cognitivement pour la bonne interprétation, en des cours supérieurs, de ce conventionnalisme employé en plans et cartes. La recherche empirique que du même nous avons réalisé, en expérimentant dans des centres éducatifs de la ville de Madrid, a mis en évidence sa grande utilité pour l′enseignement-apprentissage du thème. Son emploi en classe, a permis son utilisation depuis l′enseignement actif, donnant un r le très important à la méthodologie ludique, et il a permis la
