Abstract:

It can be seen that politics and media have been increasingly blended into the electoral process in the current Brazilian and world scenario. The politics began operating with the logic of the media and election campaigns have adopted the character of a political spectacle focused on the creation of the image and acceptance of the political actor. In this study, based on Discourse Analysis of the We analyzed how the program has built the image of the PT Rousseff’s candidate in the first show produced for broadcast TV HGPE of Brazil in 2010. The position which Dilma occupied in the elections of 2010 allowed it to suit both the rhetoric of politics, and the parameters of the media, a necessary approach to the political logic of representation of the media world / reality, the creation of the show.
