MEMóRIA E PROSAíSMO EM “A CHUVA”, DE ED PORTO

This essay is an analysis of the poem “The Rain”, written by Ed Porto a poet from Paraíba. Some theoretical assumptions of the discipline “Discourse Analysis” are used as main references to support our critical-analytical assessment of the corpus, which takes into account the expression of feelings and sensations of the poetic “I” that are afforded by the falling rain which remind him certain facts and situations that were experienced in his birth land.
