A REPRESENTA O DO AMOR NA TRANSITIVIDADE: UM ESTUDO SOBRE OS PROCESSOS E METáFORAS IDEACIONAIS EM CAN ES DE FUNK E MPB

The present study is inserted in functionalist oriented studies, more specifically Systemic Functional Linguistics, and focuses the representation of love through transitivity in MPB and funk songs, composed by Mc Marcinho and Jorge Vercillo, respectively. The analysis aims to demonstrate similarities and differences from lexical-grammatical choices between the composers, through quantitative and qualitative analysis of the ideational processes and metaphors. Relevant considerations are presented, from the analysis, about the process of expression and meaning in both composers. Data present differences in language usage and representation of world and love from both genres investigated.
