KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT: APPLICATIONS USING INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE EDUCATION / USO DE LAS TECNOLOGíAS DE LA INFORMACIóN Y LA COMUNICACIóN PARA LA GESTIóN DEL CONOCIMIENTO EN EL PROCESO DE ENSE ANZA- APRENDIZAJE

Education has to be in contact with the social reality in which the pupil lives immersed in order to adapt to his/her needs and specific characteristics; it is for this reason, that the Information and Communication Technologies are had including in the educative context like means of stimulus for the pupils, increasing their motivation and implication in the teaching-learning process. Also, the proliferation of the information and the growth of the knowledge base take to the necessity of a process that allows to filter so much the information as the knowledge, and this last one, to organize it, to catalogue it, to index it and to structure it to facilitate the fast, easy and effective access to the same from the educational angle. In the present article we will approach some applications that using the Information and Communication Technologies and the basic concept of the process of Knowledge Management, are developed and applied in the classroom like effective tools in the optimization of the teaching-learning process and in the attainment of the objectives of Education.La Educación ha de estar en contacto con la realidad social en la que vive inmerso el discente a fin de adaptarse a sus necesidades y características específicas; es por ello, que las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación se han incluido en el contexto educativo como medio de estímulo para el alumnado, incrementando su motivación e implicación en el proceso de ense anza-aprendizaje. Asimismo, la proliferación de la información y el crecimiento de la base de conocimientos lleva a la necesidad de un proceso que permita filtrar tanto la información como el conocimiento, y a este último, de organizarlo, catalogarlo, indexarlo y estructurarlo para facilitar el acceso rápido, fácil y eficaz al mismo desde el ángulo educacional. En el presente artículo abordaremos una serie de aplicaciones que empleando las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación y el concepto primordial de base del proceso de Gestión del Conocimiento, se desarrollan y aplican en el aula como herramientas eficaces en la optimización del proceso de ense anza-aprendizaje y en la consecución de los objetivos de la Educación.
