Ama : Ara t rman n amac 25-49 ya aras evli erkeklerde e lerine y nelik iddet uygulama durumunun, türlerinin ve etkileyen etmenlerin belirlenmesidir. Y ntem: Kesitsel tipteki al man n evreni, zmir’in Konak l esi’nde bulunan Esentepe Sa l k Oca B lgesi’nde ya ayan 25-49 ya aras 2615 evli erkektir. Sistematik rnekleme y ntemi ile se ilen 254 ki iye ula lm t r. Psikolojik iddete maruziyet, ortaokul ve üzeri renimli kad nlarda anlaml olarak daha fazlad r. Methods: The cross-sectional study was conducted in the Esentepe Health Centre district which is affiliated to the Konak District Health Directorate. The study group was composed of 2,615 married men, aged between 25 to 49 years. It was planned to reach a group size of 254 participants that would be selected by systematic sampling.The dependent variable was the presence of violence and this was defined by the Revised Conflict Tactics Scales (CTS). Independent variables were sociodemographic variables of man and wife and features of marriage, family, health conditions and sexual activity Chi-square test, t test and logistic regression were used for statistical analyses.
