BEST AGE OF BRAZIL: BIOPSYCHOSOCIAL DUE PROCESS OF AGING

Today Brazil is going through a major shift in its demographic structure, with progressive and accelerated aging of the population, which currently represents 9.6% of Brazilians or 17.7 million elderly. The interaction of factors involved in human aging process and the environmental, physical and mental health, influence on quality of life of the elderly. Thus this exploratory study, developed through technical research literature review, aims to showthe biopsychosocial aspects that characterize the process of human aging and the influence of these aspects in the life expectancy of the elderly population is increasing annually .Therefore, this study can conclude that the biopsychosocial aspects have great influence onthe aging process, helping us to have a higher or a lower life expectancy as the changes in both the physical factor, psychological and social aspects of elderly. The functional capacity of the elderly will depend on the changes and care of these issues later in life, can ever increasing life expectancy.
