La nueva política migratoria marroquí ante retos de transnacionalismo y codesarrollo

Morocco is promoting a new migratory policy with the challenge of including its emigrants in the country's institutions and of establishing the basis of their participation in the democratic process. In the last five years, the demands made by the Moroccan community abroad in defense of their rights have made their way onto the country's political agenda and have been addressed by means of various state initiatives, considering the transnational practices, the effects of economic crisis and the possibilities of codevelopment. This article calls into question the relevance and effectiveness of the public policies aimed at Moroccan emigrants and the coherence of the institutional infrastructure in place.
