Abstract:

The aim of this study was to evaluate according to goals and objectives dimension of listening/watching domain in 8th grade Turkish Language Curriculum based on teachers’ views. This study was a descriptive study based on survey model and qualitative research was designed according to the method. Population of the study was composed of Turkish Language teachers teaching 8th graders in public and private schools in Kars city center. For qualitative data, 15 Turkish Language teachers were selected through convenient sampling method and they were interviewed. Quantitative data were gathered through “Evaluation of Listening/Watching Domain of 8th Grade Turkish Language Curriculum Questionnaire” which was developed by the researcher, and qualitative data were gathered through semi-structured interview form. Qualitative data gathered with interview, then, were analyzed with content analysis method. As a result of Listening/watching’s goals and objectives of 8th grade Turkish Language Curriculum is adequate according to Turkish language teachers. Bu ara t rman n amac , sekizinci s n f Türk e Dersi retim Program (TD P) Dinleme / zleme alan na y nelik ama ve kazan mlar retmen g rü leri do rultusunda de erlendirmektir. Ara t rma tarama modelinde betimsel bir al mad r ve nitel y nteme g re desenlenmi tir. Ara t rma evrenini Kars ilindeki resm ve zel ilk retim okullar nda g rev yapan ve sekizinci s n flarda Türk e derslerini yürüten bran retmenleri olu turmaktad r. Ara t rmada nitel verileri elde etmek i in kolay ula labilir durum rneklemesi kullan lm ve 15 Türk e retmeni ile g rü me yap lm t r. Nitel veriler yar yap land r lm g rü me formu kullan larak toplanm t r. Yap lan g rü meler sonucunda elde edilen nitel verilerin analiz edilmesinde i erik analizi tekni i kullan lm t r. Ara t rma sonucunda Türk e retmenleri ama ve kazan mlar genel olarak yeterli bulmu lard r. Bunun yan nda retmenler, rencilerin dinleneni/izleneni anlama ve zümleme amac na ula makta zorluk ektiklerini belirtmi lerdir.
