LA ENSE ANZA COMO HERRAMIENTA EN LA DIVULGACIóN Y APROPIACIóN DEL CONOCIMIENTO | TEACHING AS A TOOL FOR THE SPREADING AND APPROPRIATION OF KNOWLEDGE

Resumen.- El problema que se aborda en este texto es el de la divulgación y apropiación del saber. Para ello, primero se repasa someramente medios tan innegablemente importantes como editoriales, revistas científicas, bibliotecas, portales y eventos académicos. A continuación, las consideraciones se restringen a la ense anza, preferentemente a la universitaria. El artículo procura volver la atención, en medio de la plétora de técnicas y medios visuales y gráficos, hacia la ense anza oral, en la que maestros y estudiantes, mediados por una cultura, intercambian saberes y se afectan, formando “una comunidad de ense antes y aprendientes”; sobre el hecho de que, antes y después de la escritura, la palabra hablada era y es la médula de la transmisión, de la ense anza. Intenta que los maestros no olvidemos que “una imagen vale más que mil palabras”, precisamente porque hay mil palabras; que si logramos entender algo de este mundo iconográfico, es porque él está sostenido en el significante.Abstract.- The paper focuses upon the spreading and appropriation of knowledge. To do so, firstly, the role of editorials, journals, libraries, homepages, conferences, among others, is considered briefly. Then, attention is paid to teaching, particularly to that which takes place in university contexts.In our times, dominated by the visual media and the information technologies, this paper pays attention to oral teaching, where teachers and students, mediated by culture, interchange knowledge and are mutually touched by the others shaping a “community of masters and learners”. It recalls that, before and after writing, the spoken word was and is the centre of the transmission and of teaching.It’s important that teachers don't forget that if “a picture is worth a thousand words” it's precisely because there is a thousand words; and that if we reach to understand anything in this iconographic world, it’s because it’s sustained by the signifier.
