Redescripción de Snellenius bicolor y S. tricolor (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) y nueva distribución en América del Sur Redescription of Snellenius bicolor and S. tricolor (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) and new distribution in South America

En el presente trabajo, se registra por primera vez la presencia de Snellenius bicolor Shenefelt para la Argentina y Bolivia. Estos registros representan la distribución más austral de esta especie. La información referida a la distribución del género también es suministrada. Se redescribe a S. bicolor y S. tricolor Shenefelt sobre la base del material tipo (Paratipo macho) y ejemplares hembra. La nueva información referida a la morfología fue incorporada a las descripciones, con dibujos de las especies. In the present paper we report for the first time the presence of Snellenius bicolor Shenefelt in Argentina and Bolivia. These records represent the southernmost occurrence of this species. Information on the distribution of the genus is also provided. Redescriptions of S. bicolor and S. tricolor Shenefelt were made based on male (paratypes) and female specimens, including new information on their morphology. Drawings of both species are presented.
