Transverse vibrations of the propeller shaft in its one-way interaction with stern bearing

The forced transverse vibrations of the shaft based on long bearings caused by variable moment are studied. The bearings are modeled by elastic foundation with constant stiffness. The possible separation of the shaft from the bearing during vibrations and bearing’s runout are taken into account.
