Constructions of power in the documentary film Maradona, by Emir Kusturica

The article analyzes how the lmmaker Emir Kusturica composes the main character in the documentary Maradona, (2008). The constructions of power around the gure of the player are veri ed, especially by the authors Pierre Bourdieu, Max Weber and Erving Go man. The purpose of this paper is to try to understand how the Serbian director explains the Argentine phenomenon in football through out the documentary narrative.
