Use and storage of natural gas as marine fuel in foreign countries and Russia: a review

The peculiarities of the use and storage of gaseous fuel abroad and in Russia are considered. The problems associated with the storage of compressed and dry gaseous fuel in the ships are shown. The ways of arrangement of tanks for gaseous fuel with minimum damage to the ship's tonnage used by foreign firms and companies are described. The basic principles of ensuring safety on the ship gas flue are formulated.
