O Ensino Superior no Sudoeste do Paraná: origem e trajetória de transforma o da FACIBEL (Higher education in the Southwest of the Paraná State: origins and transformation process of the FACIBEL)

Resumo: As Funda es Municipais de Ensino Superior foram criadas pelo poder público municipal, em consonancia com as políticas do governo brasileiro que preconizavam a expans o e interioriza o do ensino superior. é nesse universo em que se inseriu a Funda o Faculdade de Ciências Humanas de Francisco Beltr o – FACIBEL, e é através de uma análise da história do ensino superior e sua rela o com o contexto socioecon mico e político que se busca contextualizar o processo de sua cria o, sua existência e sua transforma o. Este artigo, numa perspectiva histórica, descritiva e analítica, resgata a sua memória e revela para a compreens o toda a dinamica do processo de cria o do ensino superior em Francisco Beltr o, sua trajetória de supera o e avan os dentro de um contexto que marcou o passado da cidade e da regi o, inserindo muitos atores e seus papéis nesse recorte da história regional. Abstract: The Municipal Foundations of Higher Education were created by the municipal government, in line with the policies of the Brazilian government, and promoting the expansion and internalization of higher education. It is in this context that the Funda o Faculdade de Ciências Francisco Beltr o – FACIBEL is inserted, and it is by means of an analysis of the history of higher education and its relation to the social, economical, and political scenarios that we seek to contextualize its creation process, existence and transformation. This article recovers its memory by means of a historical, descriptive and analytical perspective, revealing the dynamics of the establishing of the higher education system in Francisco Beltr o, as well as its story of triumph and progress within a context that marked the past of the city and the region, inserting many actors and their roles in this slice of regional history.
