La ricerca empirica in psicoterapia di gruppo: Stato dell’arte e direzioni future

Research in group-analytic psychotherapy represents one of the most controversial and relatively less investigated topics within the general research field of the assessment of psychotherapies.However, during the last years an increasing number of studies is focusing on the question “if and how group psychotherapy works”, trying to answer using clinical and empirical research instruments.Aim of this study is to give an overview of the most important results showed recently by the italian research and to suggest some reflections about future directions in group psychotherapy.
