MUDAN A COMPORTAMENTAL DO CONSUMIDOR A PARTIR DE SACOLAS PLáSTICAS: INICIATIVA EM PROL DA SUSTENTABILIDADE EM COMUNIDADE CRIST

This research deals with the degradation caused by plastic bags in Brazil, culturallyassimilated, whose disposal occurs on a large scale without management or restriction,generating an unsustainable cycle of great socio-environmental impact, especially by thepotential for income generation and social inclusion inherent of managing solid waste. Theissue is addressed from the standpoint of the transition to sustainability, where concreteactions are required for change the scenery, positioning the education and participation ofsociety as strategic factors. Especially considering the high standard of consumption and theimportance to repair unsustainable habits of waste disposal, we conducted an experimentfocused on the knowledge, mobilizing a group of Catholics, in order to stimulateenvironmentally responsible behaviors.
