A concentra o fundiária e as políticas agrárias governamentais recentes

This paper discusses the brazilian agrarian structure that in its historic heritage has as essential characteristic the concentration of land in the hands of a small minority, setting the relations of production and work force in the agrarian economy of Brazil that is at the service of large landowners and has as fundamental features the inequality, the contradiction and the conflict within the different governments that managed (even minimally) the land issue. The land policy adopted in recent governments and the market land reform adopted by the neoliberal governments will also be discussed
