THE CONNECTION OF MORPHOLOGICAL DIMENSIONS WITHVARIABLES FOR ASSESSMENT THE LEGS’ EXPLOSIVENESS AND START SPEED

The survey was conducted among a male population of regular students at age of 14-15 years (±3 months) from the Republic of Macedonia. The total number of subjects involved in this research was 124. The aim of this research was to see what type the connection was, i.e. the influence of variables for assessing the legs’ explosiveness and start speed on the body’s latent morphological dimensions. The sample of indicators was consisted of three criteria variables (for the volume assessment and the subskin fat tissue of the body; assessment of the body’s longitudinal dimensionality and for assessment of the body’s transversal dimensionality) and four motor variables (two variables for assessing the legs’ explosive power and two variables responsible for assessing the start speed). The regression analysis determined the influence of motor tests on the criteria.
