Investigation on stone crayfish Austropotamobius torrentium (Schrank, 1803) population in River Sarnena (Western Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria)

During the study 116 stone crayfish specimens (100 males and 16 females) were caught by traps. Mean body weight for males 26.18±6.7 g and 16.97±6.4 g for females was established. The value of catch per unit effort (CPUE) for the crayfish population in River Sarnena was 1.93.
