PLST: Point Location Using Search Technique Algorithms

Search technique is a basic tool of data mining. Ahierarchical search technique for point locationbased on k-d tree is introduced. Algorithms ofbuildingand traversingthis binary data structureare explained. In this technique we will go over howto use a k-d tree for finding the k nearestneighbours of a specific point or location and thenwill also go over how to find all neighbours withinsome distance specified by the user.
