Abstract:

Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) are receivingincreasing attentions from academia anddeployment efforts from industry, due to the variousapplications and potential tremendous benefits theyoffer for future VANET users.Wellbeinginformationswitch overenables life-criticalapplications,such as the alerting functionalityduringconnectiontraversing and laneintegration,and thus,itplays a key role in VANET. In aVANET, vehicles will rely on the integrity ofreceived data for deciding when to present alerts todrivers. The communication between car to car, carto roadside unit done through wirelesscommunication. That is why security is animportant concern area for vehicular networkapplication. In VANET some serious networkattacks such as man in middle attack, masqueradingis possible. In this paper we are going to propose analgorithm in order to overcome these networkattacks. Finally we have analyzed and comparedour algorithm with existing algorithm [1]
