Mercury: its implications in Health and Environment

The liquid metal, mercury, found in the nature, is increasing due to the anthropic activities not only in its organic but also its inorganic way. A general review about this metal is presented, including its cycle and impact in the environment and human health. This work was made based on studies from many countries including Colombia.
