An Experiment to Harness the Creativity in Requirements Engineering

The first step of Requirements Engineering is always deciding "what to build". Although it may seem trivial, sometimes is the most difficult step in the whole project. This paper describes some experiences in the development of small creativity sessions focused on the question of "what to build." The limited context of time used for this research allowed a very detailed control of the overall results. This article details the successful quantitative results of the technique applied.
