Abstract:

This article analyzes the fieldwork as a methodology of teaching-learning in the Regional Geography discipline. This study shows like assumption the understanding of how to drive the geographic knowledge and its repercussions in cognitive development of students of Geography, in the Federal University of Ceará. This work points to the educator and the students of this scientific field a rethink about the importance of field class, its construction process of knowledge about the lived space and designed to be observed. This activity field presents a dialogue between the studied concepts in the classroom and the phenomena seen in the field.
