Mathematical models of interactions between species: peaceful co-existence of vampires and humans based on the models derived from fiction

Our paper presents a new approach to mathematical modeling of intertemporalinteractions between species based on differential equations. It employs the example ofinteractions between vampires and humans using several types of vampire behaviordescribed in popular fiction literature, comic books, films and TV series. Althoughmathematical modeling enables us to reject most of the popular scenarios embedded inpopular literature and films, it appears that several popular culture sources outline themodels describing plausible and peaceful vampire and human co-existence.
