John Searle y el Rol de la Intencionalidad en la construcción de significado: de los actos del habla al contenido mental

The notion of intentionality has been addressed from various perspectives in the philosophical tradition. Authors as Descartes and Brentano, Husserl have cemented the foundations of understanding of intentional states, however, in the latest proposal from John Searle, find a new and suggestive way of understanding the link between intentionality and meaning, to the field of Linguistics. For this reason, the work that is presented below, it intends to propose an answer to the question what relationships is between - content - intentionality of the concepts and thoughts and the meaning - content- sign language and statements?. This inquiry will be made from the theory of intentionality proposed by Searle, who comes to propose a notable variant for the elaboration of a theoretical explanation of the meaning in the use of the language. Thus through a relevant literature review, se aims to support the thesis that the meaning se derives of the original intent of the mind.
