aking as basis Heidegger’s analysis of fear, as treated in the thertieth paragraph of Sein und Zeit, this investigation proposes to transfer the cathegories discovered by that author to the interpretative study of a literary piece: Le Horla by Guy de Maupassant.Trough this approach, it is intended to specify the factic possibility of forms of fear that are not contemplated in Sein und Zeit’s provissional study, forms triggered by the reading experience, inside the particular field of fanthastic literature.The result will be a first introducction to an hermeneuthics of fear of Heideggerian style, and the identification of types of fear that excede the basic scheme, and urge for a meticulous study
