Locuciones Ejecutivas - J. L. Austin: Cómo hacer cosas con palabras

This translation is performed within a working group of the Institute of Philosophy at the Universidad Católica de Valparaiso. This working group is composed of teachers Laura V. Palma, Sylvia Escobar Toledo, Mirko and Hernan Zomosa Skarica, and it has been proposed as a research topic semantic theories of Austin and his closest followers. The translation of "Performative Utterances" has been one result of the plan of work carried out during the second half of 1971. Before writing the translation definitely offered here, his first writing in Castilian was studied in the seminar on the author by Mirko Skarica at the Institute of Philosophy (UCV) in the second half of 1971. The translators especially appreciate the students of that seminar for all the valuable suggestions they made during the discussion of the text.
