El sustrato teórico del fenómeno otakuKeywords: Identity , Otaku , Imaginaries , Manga , anime , Self , Bricolage , Japanese , society Abstract: This paper proposes a research about imaginaries as the integrated generators of collectionist behavior of the manga/anime fan related to the established aesthetics by the japanese culture industries and merchandising to the owner of all that items. The goal with researching the structure of the fandom of imaginaries is directed to their power to draw the boundaries of personal taste on the use and belonging to the consumer’s fantasy kingdom of that and other articles exposed by the mass media.
