On the FE-analysis of inverse problems: An application in electrical engineering

Studying engineering problems by mathematical modelling and numericalanalysis often leads to so-called ill-posed problems. Here weconsider Cauchy-type problems based on the application of hybrid insulation.We formulate three optimal control problems, with Neumannor Dirichlet control, on the unit square and use Nitsche’s method forhandling Dirichlet boundary conditions.
