Selection of Multi-Cloud Storage Using Cost Based Approach

Companies are often challenged to increase the functionality of IT while minimizing capital expenditures. Cloud providers operated on proprietary closed architectures that make migration a headache. In this paper we present a Cost based approach for selecting Multi-Cloud Storage. We found that our model fits the practical requirements and supports decision making in Cloud Computing. In this work we observed that, from customer’s point of view relying upon a solo service provider for his outsourced data is not very promising, so we propose a Cost Based Approach model in cloud computing which holds an economical distribution of data among the available service providers in the market to provide customers with data availability.
