Ramón de Hoces el Sevillano: Personaje histórico en Don Quijote de la Mancha?

Este estudio se centra en una figura secundaria de Don Quijote, Ramón de Hoces el Sevillano, para repasar lo que la crítica ha aportado sobre ella y despejar incógnitas sobre su pretendida historicidad. Concluyo que no se puede afirmar que De Hoces sea un personaje histórico con los datos aportados hasta hoy por los diferentes investigadores. In this study I focus on Ramón de Hoces el Sevillano, a secondary figure in Don Quixote. My intention is to make a review on what the critics have argued about it, and to clear up doubts on his so-called historicity. I conclude that so far De Hoces cannot be considered a historical figure with the data shown by the Cervantes scholars and researchers
