Anthropometric indicatives and people’s health with disabilities.

Abstract:

The objective of this investigation is to identify and to analyze the prevalence and associations of the risks to the people's health with special needs (PNE) by means of the anthropometrics’ indicatives. For this, we used a descriptive exploratory study with adults of both sexes with mean age 30 ± 10 years for males and 29 ± 11 for females, and this sample of 111 individuals of whom 48 are men and 63 are women. The investigation was accomplished in three institutions of special education in the municipal district of Guanambi/BA: Association of Parents and Exceptional Friends (APAE), Association of Parents and Friends of Faulty Auditory (APADA), and Center of Psychosocial Attention (CAPS). THE result of the research aimed excess of weight of the sample with 46,7%. IMC aimed overweight between the men of 27,1% and the women 19%, the obesity was more prevalence among the women PNE, where they almost presented a percentile one 3x larger than the men with 34,9%; the PC, RCQ and IC demonstrate cardiovascular risk in the order of 31%, 17,4% and 24,2% respectively. With relationship to GC 35,7% of the population meet above recommended it. It is ended that besides determining specific court points for the (PNE) it should be elaborated programs of addressed physical activity the population, to guide on its importance in the prevention of the coronations diseases and to promote with that the education in relation to the physical activity and its several benefits.
