Abstract:

Cloud computing is a comprehensive Internet-basedcomputing solution. The flexibility of cloudcomputing is a function of the allocation of resourceson demand. While a traditional computer setuprequires you to be in the same location as your datastorage device, the cloud takes away that step .Itmakes possible for us to access our information fromanywhere at any time. But often the informationhoused on the cloud is often seen as valuable toindividuals with malicious intent. The main concernsvoiced by those moving to the cloud are security andprivacy. The companies supplying cloud computingservices know this and understand that withoutreliable security, their businesses will collapse. Sosecurity and privacy are high priorities for all cloudcomputing entities. The main focus of this paper isnot only to protect confidential data from variousmalicious modifications but also to give a proof thatthe computed result is correct as per request. Forthis, linear programming computations aredecomposed into public LP solvers. Here the originalLP problem is converted into an arbitrary problemwhich helps to protect confidential informationsstored in the cloud and also facilitates the users withan efficient result verification mechanism.
