Work in Progress: Hacia una historia social y cultural de las ciencias? Proyecto de conformación del Grupo de Estudios de historia social y cultural de las ciencias en América Latina /Toward a Social and Cultural History of Sciences? Project concerning the Creation of a Social and Cultural History of Sciences in Latin American Research Group

Researches on linkages that has had the scientific development in Latin America with their respective historical contexts, have led scholars to address these issues in different areas of discourse and scientific practices, although lacking a common arena of discussion. Therefore, in 2009, a Social and Cultural History of sciences Research Group was born in Chile that aims both systematizing these particular efforts and promoting dialogue among researchers from different disciplines.
