This research aims to analyze the distribution of land to immigrants known as the Danube Swabians in the region of Entre Rios, Guarapuava in 1951, in its political, economic and socio-cultural. Among the objectives may also be highlighted the traditions of the people and its relevance to the regional culture. In this scenario it is important to focus on agricultural productivity: what are the first and the main crop produced by the settlers, the marketing of production, difficulties in the first year of activity and, finally, determine the economic importance of the colony to develop Guarapuava. The sources used for this research are: literature dealing with immigration, memory and identity, and interviews.
