Essay: Memória (lembran a), esquecimento e representa o em uma cinebiografia do século XX: “nós que aqui estamos por vós esperamos”Keywords: cinema - history - social criticism Abstract: When we look back we realize that twentieth century seems a ghost that every day lost in the seas of our forgetfulness. His memory is kept by the records of your files, books, films and documentaries. With precisely this aim of maintaining and even more criticism and analysis of the memory on the last century, in 1998, filmmaker Marcelo Masag o wrote the screenplay, produced and directed the documentary “We’re here for you to expect.” But how to analyze and study a film that does not purport to be a historical film or a documentary? Production that is actually presented as a biopic of the century. The commitment of the historian front of the cinema as a source, which may be rich in multiple meanings, is to realize that his criticism can not limit what is in the movie, but all that “surrounds and which communicates necessarily” (IRON, 1976:203). In other words, historical analysis of the document film should be concerned with the interrelationship of the work with its relational context. Thus, in this paper we analyze the relationship between the central argument of Marcelo Masag o and their philosophical production as a means to understand remaking of memory (memory), representing the past, the present analysis, the establishment of his criticism to “possible forgetfulness “of society and its new representation of the historical trajectory of the twentieth century.
