Diferencias en la estructura textual del japonés y el espa ol: su influencia en la traducción (Differences on Japanese and Spanish text structure: Its influence on translation)

En el siguiente artículo se intenta explicar la influencia en el proceso de traducción que ejercen las diferentes estructuras textuales del japonés y el espa ol, mediante la comparación y análisis de textos en términos de coherencia, cohesión y estructura temática. Dicho ejercicio servirá para identificar y ejemplificar distintas tendencias entre ambas lenguas, lo que esperamos contribuirá a mejorar la calidad de las traducciones. (The following article deals with the differences between Japanese and Spanish text structure and the influence they have on the translation process. Samples of texts are compared and analyzed in terms of coherence, cohesion and thematic structure. This exercise will prove useful to identify and to exemplify the different trends between both languages and, we hope, it will contribute to improve the quality of translations.)
