Geological and Microbial Activity in the Constitution of the Chemical Environment Biosphere [Atividade Geológica e Microbiana na Constitui o do Ambiente Químico da Biosfera]

his article discusses some ways to the production of chemicals from both the dynamics of the Earth - analyzed in the light of plate tectonics theory, as those obtained from microbial activity - indicating the advances that have revealed the existence of the Domain Archaea, which led the proposition new phylogenetic tree made from RNA subunits. Thus the central focus of this paper is to relate the various products offered by volcanism with those of microbial metabolism, in an attempt to understand their relative abundance in the biosphere.
